Hello! I'm Brian

I help organizations build highly effective information technology (IT) teams and lead influential technology programs. Early on in my career I was a US Army Recruiter where I was recognized as the US Army Recruiter of the Year; this is when I discovered my passion for leading the way organizations can attract and retain top talent. Since then, I have been blessed with the opportunity to attract and lead more than 2,500 highly talented, diverse IT professionals and develop programs to train, motivate and develop both technology and workforce strategies.

IT Workforce Director, Phoenix AZ

Responsible for spearheading a new 3-year location strategy to create an IT workforce location in Phoenix Arizona, together with a select team of executive leaders. 

2014-2018

IT Workforce Director, Plano/San Antonio TX

USAA

Partnered with key senior IT leaders to shape and implement the strategy and planning for a first-ever new USAA IT location in Plano TX with the goal to attracted 850 new software engineers. 

2007-2014

IT Director, San Antonio TX

USAA

Led a large IT Department accountable for 50 employees to include three managers and over 100 third-party employees implementing infrastructure products into the overall internal ecosystem and also responsible to introduce a rigorous IT workforce strategy to address IT Interns, Onboarding, Sourcing and Retention KPIs that align to the long-term business strategies and vision.
